Peer Circles for Businesses Scaling to £1M+

Confidential monthly peer circles where ambitious founders share real challenges, gain perspective and stay accountable.

Most founders don’t have a place to talk openly about the real challenges of running a business. ASCEND was created to change that.

Launching in Bristol and Cardiff — limited to 12 founders per group.

Created by the founder of ULTRA CEO peer groups.

How ASCEND Works

Membership pricing is designed to be accessible for founders earlier in their growth journey.

Monthly Founder Circle

A confidential peer group of up to 12 founders meeting monthly to share challenges, insights and real-world experience.

Structured Problem Solving

Members support each other’s growth, providing challenge, encouragement and accountability between meetings.

Accountability & Support

Each meeting follows a proven format where members bring real business challenges and receive practical input from peers.

Why founders join ASCEND

Building a business can be surprisingly isolating.

ASCEND Founder Circle brings together a small group of ambitious founders navigating similar challenges — growth, leadership, hiring, strategy and decision-making.

Each circle is limited to 12 founders to ensure trust, confidentiality and meaningful conversations.

About the Founder

ASCEND Founders Circle was created by Jamie Breese, founder of ULTRA — a peer group network for CEOs and MDs of established businesses across the UK.

After working closely with hundreds of senior leaders and founders over the past decade, Jamie recognised the need for a similar environment for ambitious founders earlier in their growth journey.

ASCEND brings together small groups of founders navigating similar challenges — creating a confidential space for honest conversation, insight and accountability.

Before launching ULTRA and ASCEND, Jamie founded the Business Showcase South West expo and Evolution Business Networking, and previously worked as a broadcaster and filmmaker.
